3d radar : week 2 progress

yeah so i have it working in the old version, now the fun
starts of getting it working in the newer version.

with the changes to the graphics systems and such,
it could be a difficult task to accomplish.

    Well we're here if you need a different perspective; it often helps when programming, just that little bit of information that helps you figure it out :)

    There's a fallback for this feature; but we'd like to avoid using a hack.
