Space pirates

need i say more? We are now down to buisness on the first level of the game and we all have our own parts to play i have the part of junkyard builder so far i have done alittle bit of game art of what the level may look like and also made a model of what the junkyard will look like. here you go.

  1. I see, so its exterior (or atleast this part is). Well in that case, maybe you would like to use the game's level editor to get an even better perspective.

    The editor has a terrain block, which is just one big plane that is manipulated with transform tools, 6 texture maps etc. We have paralax mapping which is cool; billboard generators (for foliage etc). Precipitation (rain, dust, snow or whatever particle you want to go around). Plenty of tools so I won't list them all.

    If you would like to actually make the first area first design what would be around this pirate place; come up with that ideas for terrain texturing; sky; ecology; etc.

    Oh and a reminder; please dont overpoly the models (especially with mesh smooth >_>).

  2. We also have road/river tools in T3D so you can do some interesting stuff; but... keep in mind if you want to use water, we'd need swimming animations.
